The Beauty of Ordinary Days      October 2026
Somewhere along the way, I forgot something rather important.
Why I fell in love with photography in the first place. I became so caught up in what I should photograph, what people might want to see, and whether my photographs were good enough that I almost forgot the simple pleasure of picking up my camera.

Wandering through the garden and noticing the last flower of autumn. Of watching the afternoon light fall across the kitchen table, Of going for a walk without knowing what I might find.
And I've missed that.
So I'm returning to the beginning. To photographing whatever catches my eye, without needing a reason beyond the fact that I find it beautiful.
There will be photographs of people, food, gardens, products I find useful, countryside images, and changing seasons.
Sometimes it is not about doing more, but about noticing more. After photographing people in my studio and on location, to food and products, I am embracing a slower life with more attention to details.
And perhaps that is what photography has always meant to me.
